Event on June 29, 2024 in the Nyiragongo territory organized by Baudouin Muvunga under the theme: On-chain governance of Cardano and Intersect MBO

As of June 29 2024, the beneficiary of the grant on face-to-face workshops from Intersect MBO, Mr. Baudouin Muvunga, head of a local organization called UPDCI asbl, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, organized an event talking about the Cardano On-chain governance and Intersect MBO to a group of young people in a local hotel where they met.

The workshop kicked off at 9:00 AM and ran until 3:30 PM local time. Throughout the day, captivating discussions explored entirely new concepts for the young people of Nyiragongo. It's clear that the Cardano ecosystem is carving out a crucial niche in our ever-evolving world. As the world embraces new technologies like Web3 and blockchain, nations are actively positioning themselves. Africa is experiencing rapid advancements in this area, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, a developing nation, is actively participating in this technological revolution thanks to the Cardano blockchain. This represents a significant opportunity for the youth of Nyiragongo, a region long affected by various conflicts. Despite these challenges, they remain resilient and continue their strive for intellectual growth.

The Intersect MBO grant made it possible for a meetup to be held at the Turquie Plaisir hotel. This event featured presentations by a variety of speakers, all focused on Cardano highlighting the role of intersect MBO. In this article, we present to you the materials that were issued by the different speakers. The energy in the room was electric! Lively discussions buzzed around Cardano's history and Governance, youth involvement opportunities, Project Catalyst, and Intersect MBO, the member-based organization.
